The first Politics in a Democracy under Stress Summer School, organized by the AUBG’s Center for Information, Democracy, and Citizenship in cooperation with Master’s Program for Democracy and Governance at Georgetown University, was a success. The program took the participants on a journey through some of the main pillars of a democratic society, including free and fair elections, active participation in society, human rights, and the rule of law. Participants attended discussions and workshops delivered by prominent academics, policy analysts, civil society representatives, and public and private sector leaders.
