AUBG has achieved a remarkable milestone, surpassing the $1 million matching grant challenge set by the America for Bulgaria Foundation (ABF) well ahead of the December 31 deadline. This accomplishment has unlocked two million chances to change a life, marking a significant step in the university’s ongoing mission to support students and provide outstanding educational opportunities.
“This milestone is a powerful testament to the strength and commitment of the AUBG community,” said Dr. Margee Ensign, President of AUBG. “Hundreds of people stepped up. In total, 343 donors, including 258 alumni, have pledged, and every contribution, big or small, has made a difference.”
