The StartUP@Blagoevgrad regular Fall conference transformed for 15th year in a row the Dr. Carl Djerassi Theater into a meeting place for ideas, experience and entrepreneurial thinking.
This year, the StartUP conference also offers an updated format with an expanded panel with more dynamics, interactive elements and active participation in the publication. The format included a “yes/no” game, as well as significantly more time for questions and discussion, which turned the event into a lively dialogue between the speakers and the audience.
“At StartUP Club, our goal is simple: to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in every student, within the university and beyond,” said the President of the club Ekaterina Valeva.
“We want everyone in the room to feel that the stage is within reach – that one day, they could be the ones standing there. This is the power of our community to inspire, open doors, and remind us that everything starts with the courage to take the first step.”
The hosts welcomed on stage well-known faces from the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Dimitar Dimitrov from Shelly Group, Dr. Andrey Bachvarov from ANTHILL by Exadel with a focus on AI startups, as well as Ognyan Popov, co-founder of Volt Premium Taxi and Swipe.bg. They shared personal lessons, challenges, and strategic decisions from their professional journey.
Throughout the years, the StartUP@Blagoevgrad Conference has proven that it is always in track with the latest trends in the entrepreneurial and the tech world. As part of their package for participants, they are the pioneers on campus to add the ticket to Apple and Android wallet.
