Re:benefit Empowers AUBGers Again with an Exciting Project

Re:benefit, Bulgaria’s ultimate flexible benefits platform, is again joining forces with AUBG to provide a unique opportunity for aspiring young talent. This partnership is part two of an important collaboration that aims to help AUBG students learn how to start businesses and come up with creative ideas. The project is rolling for second consecutive semester at AUBG.

On Sept. 25, 2023, Georgi Georgiev (’00) and Georgi Lilianov (’00), two of the founders of Re:benefit, showed a new project to the AUBG students during info sessions at the university. The initiative is meant to inspire the students in their role of future professionals and leaders and to involve them in a project that lasts a whole semester, helping them get better at planning and managing businesses.

The students’ reports and presentations are due by Dec. 2, and they will get to showcase their innovative solutions right on campus. What makes this collaboration particularly special is the strong connection between Re:benefit and AUBG. Both Georgi Georgiev and Georgi Lilianov are proud AUBG alumni, demonstrating how former students can continue to support and motivate their successors in the fields of business and entrepreneurship.

This time, the project is bigger, involving 78 AUBG students in their final year majoring in Business Administration. They are split into three main groups of 26 students each. Every group will be further divided into teams of 4-5 students. The students will work on one of three different projects, all guided by professor Elena Radeva as part of their Strategic Management class.
