The AUBG community came together once again to open its door to the world of the prospective students, their families and friends. Over 600 eager and enthusiastic visitors joined the event, which took place on October 14, to explore the world of American liberal arts education and discover the myriad academic programs AUBG has to offer.
Exploring the World of Liberal Arts
AUBG, a renowned institution in the heart of Balkans, stands as a testament to the excellence of American-style liberal arts education. During the Open Day, high school students had the privilege of delving into the panorama of academic specialties. The AUBG fair for academic and co-curricular activities provided them with valuable insights into the diverse range of majors and minors offered by AUBG, making it easier for them to choose the perfect academic path to pursue.

Even though I have been here just for a while, I found them to be dedicated and very inspiring. It’s the story of your student life. Much of your life as students will be spent outside the classroom. The American tradition of Higher Education has long recognized how important that time is as an integral part of the total university experience. We educate the whole student, not just your intellect. AUBG is the story of students leading, engaging, solving problems, and performing. It’s also the story of staff. Of all of the many people who keep this beautiful campus operating effectively and as smoothly as possible. In short, this university is the story of a community. A community dedicated to the success of each and every one of our students.”
Navigating the Application Process
One of the crucial moments for the participants was the individual Q&A with Admissions team and alumni from whom they learned more about the application process and the student life. Moreover, they had their questions related to financial support options and deadlines answered by the AUBG team.
Immersing in Campus Life
The Open House Day also featured captivating campus tours. Led by current AUBG students, the tours allowed visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant and dynamic atmosphere of the university. As they walked around the key spots on campus prospective students had the chance to learn more about the physical facilities but also about the heart and soul of AUBG.
Meeting current students, who were excited to share their experiences, provided valuable insights into the university’s rich campus life. From club activities, hackathons, and sports competitions to radio shows, musicals, conferences, and more, the Open House Day offered a glimpse of the diverse and exciting student life at AUBG.
