The Controller for CoGS at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company (CCHBC) BSO, Nikolay Boev, took the stage to deliver an insightful presentation on Investment appraisal, part of the Corporate Partnership Program with AUBG. This event was organized in collaboration with students from the Associate Consulting Club, who were eager to learn more about CapEx and OpEx investment decisions within a corporate setting.
The presentation was a dynamic blend of success and failure stories, providing students with valuable insights into the real-world challenges and rewards of financial decision-making. The lecture was structured into two engaging parts, with the second segment offering a hands-on experience. Students were tasked with working on a hypothetical business case for the company, encouraging them to think creatively and step outside their comfort zones.
“The workshop with Coca-Cola Hellenic was very practical and useful, even for beginners in finance and accounting,” said Valentina Stanimirova, a first-year student at AUBG and a member of the Associate Consulting Club. “Even though I am still not taking such classes, I can’t wait to put my newly acquired knowledge into practice.”
