The Charity Bazaar and Marathon in Support of Women Fighting Breast Cancer was organized for the fifth consecutive year by the Better Community Club at AUBG.
The event took place on the AUBG campus. Apart from the marathon, the organizers had prepared to sell handmade sweets, jewelry, hair accessories, cards, T-shirts and more.
Students, faculty, professors and administration of the institution supported the initiative and raised 2,250 BGN.
The funds raised will support the “One in 8” Foundation, which has been promoting for more than 10 years early detection of breast cancer and providing free information, psychological, emotional and practical support to women diagnosed with the disease.
This year’s event was supported by two other clubs: the Olympics Sports Club and the Associates Consulting Club.
