Between November 17 and November 21, the English Language Institute (ELI) at the American University in Bulgaria had the pleasure of hosting a group of six English-language students and two instructors from the Escuela Oficial de Idiomas, Rivas Vaciamadrid in Spain. Their visit was part of an Erasmus+ mobility project, designed to foster international collaboration, cultural exchange, and professional development.
Throughout their week-long stay, our guests participated in a rich program that included:
- visits to ELI classes;
- interactive workshops;
- discussions on language teaching methodologies;
- and dynamic conversations about Spanish and Bulgarian culture.
The exchange brought new energy and insights to our classrooms, giving our students the chance to broaden their perspectives, explore cultural similarities and differences, and share teaching and learning experiences.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our partners from EOI Rivas Vaciamadrid for choosing ELI as their Erasmus+ destination. Their enthusiasm, curiosity, and openness made the collaboration truly meaningful.
We also wish to thank our dedicated ELI students and instructors, whose warm welcome and active participation made the visit enjoyable and enriching for everyone involved. Their commitment helped create a supportive environment where ideas flowed freely and new friendships formed.
We look forward to continuing this successful partnership and welcoming more international guests in the future as part of our ongoing mission to promote intercultural communication and excellence in language education.
