The traditional AUBG initiative Ambassadors’ Day was revived on the Blagoevgrad campus after three years of pandemic restrictions. The AUBG community was happy to welcome ambassadors and diplomats from nine countries who talked to students, professors, and staff, toured the AUBG campus and talked to the students’ representatives of their countries. Moreover, the visit happened during the AUBG International Week thus diplomats were invited to enjoy AUBG’s Got Talent evening.
“We are so excited on having you back after three years of missing the AUBG Ambassadors’ Day due to the Covid restrictions,” said President Evans. He highlighted the importance of the connection AUBG has with the embassies in Bulgaria especially when it comes to the well-being and security of the students.
“Ideally, we will not have to work with you on any emergencies like the ones we had during the Covid pandemic, but in any case, it is so wonderful to have this relationship and to have your support and to be able to work with you and to help our students from your countries be taken care of in whatever circumstances there are.“
