AUBG is a member of ISEP, the world's largest network of post-secondary institutions cooperating to provide affordable international educational experiences.

  • If you would like to participate in the ISEP, please contact your university's administration to find out the next steps you need to take and fill in our application form by June 1, 2023. Keep in mind:

    Keep in mind:

    • Use English alphabet letters only.
    • In the “Academic Info” type the exact name of your home university, the exact application type, and upload an ID photo.
    • In the “Required documents” attach – Your transcript of records and a copy of the international passport.
    • Fill in the form, review, and submit it.

  • AUBG offers courses across various areas of study like business, computer science, economics, politics, journalism, mathematics, arts, languages, and more. You can find a full list and descriptions of courses, as well as academic policies and procedures, in the AUBG Academic Catalog. 

  • AUBG is a residential institution and all undergraduate students live on campus in the Skaptopara Residence Halls. With students coming from more than 40 countries, they are a diverse, safe and comfortable environment for AUBGers.

    A place in the dorms will be automatically booked for you after you submit your application.

  • You are expected to arrive on the 29th or 30th of August, as each student should be present at AUBG for the beginning of the on-campus orientation that starts on August 31, 2023.

Erasmus+

Erasmus+

If you are studying at a European universities and want to spend a semester or a year at AUBG, the ERASMUS+ program is right for you!

    • To visit AUBG through Erasmus+, your home university must first nominate you by submitting the Erasmus+ Nomination Form.
    • Complete AUBG's application form before June 1, 2023 . (Select "Erasmus+ Exchange in the form's application type field
    • Upload your transcripts, Learning Agreement, ID photo and proof of English proficiency to AUBG's Application Form

  • One AUBG credit is equivalent to 2 ECTS credits.

    • Courses: AUBG offers courses across various areas of study like business, computer science, economics, politics, journalism, mathematics, arts, languages, and more. You can find a full list and descriptions of courses, as well as academic policies and procedures in the Academic Catalog.
    • Learning Agreement: Once you've selected your courses for the semester, fill in the Learning Agreement. Collect all required signatures and stamp it at your home university before submitting it.
    • Language Requirement: Because classes at AUBG are taught in English, all incoming Erasmus students need to submit a level B2 or higher English language certificate. Exceptions apply only to native speakers or students from universities where English is the official language.

  • AUBG is a residential institution and all undergraduate students live on campus in the Skaptopara Residence Halls. With students coming from more than 40 countries, they are a diverse, safe, and comfortable environment for AUBGers.

    A place in the dorms will be automatically booked for you after you submit your application. There are limited places available for Fall 2023 so please apply at your earliest convenience.

    Housing fee (depends on availability):

    • €800 - Place in a double room in an apartment (two double rooms share the bathroom) in Skaptopara I and II Residence Halls
    • €900 - Place in a double room (own bathroom) in Skaptopara II Residence Hall

  • The student activity fee is NOT a tuition fee and covers co-curricular activities, student wellness programs, residential events and activities, orientation events and activities, use of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, student clubs, special events, and recreation and athletic activities, etc. The Meal plan deposit is available to use at the student restaurant and three campus cafes throughout the semester.

    • Student activity fee €315
    • Meal plan deposit €100

  • All fees must be paid before August 10, 2023 (bank transfer fees may apply). A full list of payment options is available at Payments page.

    Additional costs

    • Textbooks cost around €50 per semester. They can be purchased or leased (only part of the textbooks) at the bookstore on campus. Costs for textbooks are estimates and will vary for each student.

  • While EU and EEA citizens don't need a visa to enter Bulgaria, Erasmus exchange students need a Certificate for Long Term Residence. Find more information here.

  • Your home university must first nominate you by submitting the Nomination Form. Next, you must complete AUBG's application form before June 1, 2023.

    • In the “Required documents” attach: Transcript of records Learning agreement form English Language Certificate (If your home Institution language of instruction is not English) and ID photo
    • Copy of the international passport.

  • AUBG offers courses across various areas of study like business, computer science, economics, politics, journalism, mathematics, arts, languages, and more. You can find a full list and descriptions of courses, as well as academic policies and procedures, in the AUBG Academic Catalog. 

  • Currently, AUBG can not provide accommodation for the incoming Erasmus students in our Residence Halls. Please contact [email protected].
