For Arlinda Osmanoviq (‘21), her love for books became a lifelong mission and a beloved career.
In the latest episode of The Alumni Diaries, we travel to Montenegro to meet Arlinda, an AUBG alumna whose passion for literature has turned into a career and a purpose. Having graduated in Political Science & Internation Relations and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance; today, she serves as Director of Library Ulqini – Albanian General Consulate in Montenegro. There, she works to preserve the Albanian culture and identity in the country, considering that Albanians are a minority, consisting of 5%.
Arlinda takes us behind the scenes of the library she leads in her hometown and shares how its work contributes to safeguarding an important part of Albania’s literary legacy.
Looking back on her years at AUBG, Arlinda remembers fondly the opportunity to meet people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, and become one big family.
