AUBG Welcomes a New Cohort of EMBA Students

AUBG EMBA cohort 2025 kicked off its educational journey on January 19. By tradition, they spent the first day on the AUBG Campus in Blagoevgrad, welcomed by Provost and Interim President Dr. J.D. Mininger. After that, the program continues in Elieff Center in Sofia.

The new cohort represents experts from variety of spheres like IT, production, engineering, finances, insurance, pharmacy, hospitality and more. For the first time this year, we welcome a student from Mexico who will contribute with her global mindset to the cohort.

“The EMBA program helps leaders, who are looking not just for academic knowledge but strategic thinking, international background and diverse network. Each cohort builds up the community and attract more and more motivated experts from different industries and countries,” said Pavlina Atke, Director Graduate and Executive Programs and Elieff Center.

Among the new students is Vanya Trendafilova, this year’s recipient of the NOVA EMBA Scholarship. She plans to create an online platform that shortens the distance between farmers and consumers. The main goal of her project is to support small producers, while enabling consumers to choose and buy environmentally friendly foods at preferential prices.
