We had the pleasure of hosting a group from Elmhurst University’s School of Business as part of their study abroad program “Global Business and Leadership with the Case Study of Bulgaria.” Led by professors Vania Adams, Mick Savage and Lawrence O. Brown, MBA, ADC, the group of undergraduate and MBA students explored in a day AUBG to witness the vibrancy of American education abroad.
A key cultural exchange moment happened during a meeting with AUBGers and university representatives where they discussed cultural differences and be perspectives. On the business side, they attended an Elevate Founder Talks session with Hristo Chernev (’99) where they learned more about the startup ecosystem in the region and the teams in the Elevate program this year.
