During the past weekend, the Board of Trustees held its annual October meeting. During the regular committee meetings, the Board received updates on AUBG’s success in attracting the largest class in the university’s history, along with discussions on future fundraising plans and initiatives. A specific highlight was the progress of the ABF Matching Challenge, “2 Million Chances to Change a Life,” with $750,000 already raised toward the goal. This all-or-nothing challenge continues until December 31.
The Board also reviewed the progress of the Skaptopara III expansion project, the upcoming NECHE self-study planning, and the Board’s role in that process. Additionally, there were discussions on CIDC’s ongoing projects and its future development plans.
“Thank you to everyone who participated in Sunday’s town hall meeting,” said BoT Chair Mike Marvin. “It was wonderful to hear your questions and witness your commitment to the university’s success. Wishing each of you a successful and fulfilling academic year ahead.”
As part of the regular AUBG affairs, the Board announced the updates on the member lists of the Board of Trustees and the University Council.
