The AUBG Faculty Research Award (FRA) and the AUBG Faculty Creative Activities Award (FCAA) honor the contributions of an AUBG faculty member’s research and creative activities during their career at AUBG. The basis of these awards is the standing that the faculty member enjoys in their field, as demonstrated by the recognition of the faculty member’s work as distinguished and influential at the national and international levels.

Nominations
Every year, AUBG faculty members are invited to submit nominations and self-nominations.
The chair of the Academic Research and Creative Activities Committee (ARCAC) is responsible for issuing a call for nominations and self-nominations, through an e-mail to all faculty members by Feb.20. In the call, the ARCAC chair invites faculty members to find all necessary details in this procedure and to comply with it when submitting their self-nomination.

Self-nominations do not require prior notification. Nominations (for other colleagues) shall be submitted to the ARCAC chair, upon the nominee’s consent, by 10 March.
The deadline for submission of the Awards’ dossiers is 31 March. The dossier shall be submitted to the ARCAC chair via email. Upon receiving each nomination, the ARCAC chair shall acknowledge receipt via email.- An updated CV.
- A complete list of publications, papers, creative works, performances.
- A complete list of citations of the candidate’s work.
- A description of the candidate’s achievements in research and/or creative activity, highlighting the significance of the candidate’s contributions to their field at the international level.
