Peter Georgiev has worked in broadcast, print, and online media for over a decade. Journalism has taken him to over 30 countries across three continents sparking a lifelong passion for travel and adventure. As a reporter and editor on Panorama, Bulgaria’s leading current affairs programme, Peter covers domestic and international politics, disinformation, technology, and sports. He reported on the 2024 US presidential election from Washington, DC and Pennsylvania as a special correspondent. Peter also covered the American response to the coronavirus health crisis as part of NBC News’ investigative team in New York. Peter earned his masters degree in data and investigative journalism from the University of Missouri. With his documentary podcast Victoria, Peter explores social issues and the relationships between diverse communities through the lens of soccer. He is fluent in Bulgarian, English and German.
