This course prepares students to manage businesses in the tourism and hospitality industry, focusing on specific industry groups, including management of hotels and resorts, event management, food and beverage management, and museum and heritage site management. With rising disposable incomes and increased opportunities for travel, the tourism and hospitality industry is growing and gaining prominence around the world. The course will cover various topics with application to the tourism and hospitality industry, such as principles of management, industry standards, best practices, and regulations.
