This course focuses on specific subjects and key issues in the history of Southeast Europe. Topics include Bulgaria in the twentieth century, Yugoslavia from 1918 to 1999, Communist regimes in the Balkans, Southeast Europe in the twentieth century, and religious and ethnic minorities in the Balkans.
