Over the past ten years, podcasting has created a new medium for journalists, storytellers, educators and amateurs to reach audiences. Podcasting, now past its infancy, has established itself as a permanent fixture in our media landscape. This course will look at the history of the medium and analyze some of the key developments in this growing sector. Students will be equipped with the technical and editorial skills to produce their own podcasts, critically evaluate shows and develop new ideas.
