Developmental Psychology

PSY 3002

This course introduces students to the research and theory of human development across the entire lifespan from birth to death. Emphasis is placed on the importance of understanding the influence of cultural contexts of development, including the impact of ethnicity, socioeconomic level, personal health, and safety. Relations between home, school, and community and their impact on development are also explored.
