A Day Dedicated to Innovation, Leadership, and Entrepreneurial Thinking

Silicon Valley founder, entrepreneur, and innovation mentor Bret Waters is coming to Bulgaria for a special day of conversations, learning, and networking dedicated to entrepreneurship, corporate innovation, and the history of one of the world’s most influential innovation ecosystems.

Hosted at the AUBG Elieff Center for Education and Culture in Sofia, the program will bring together business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, alumni, and members of Bulgaria’s innovation community.

The event is organized by the AUBG Executive MBA team as part of the AUBG Leadership Talks series, in collaboration with the Stanford Club of Bulgaria, represented by AUBG EMBA alumna Sofia Toteva (EMBA ’11), and with BESCO – The Bulgarian Entrepreneurial Association serving as a communication partner.

About Bret Waters

Bret Waters brings a lifetime of Silicon Valley experience.

He teaches entrepreneurship at Stanford, serves as an Executive Mentor at Miller Center for Global Impact, and provides private coaching to startup founders. Previously, he was the Founder and CEO of three Silicon Valley software companies, served on the advisory board of the Stanford University Graduate School of Education, was interim CEO at Stanford New Schools, and worked as Chief Mentor with the European Innovation Academy. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Corporate Innovation Workshop

Historically, disruptive innovation came from outsiders, not incumbents. Then Clayton Christensen changed how we understood disruption, and today, we are seeing established companies successfully lead innovation within their own industries.

This workshop will examine the methodologies that actually work and how large organizations can build, embrace, and sustain a true culture of innovation.
