Thirty New Students Join AUBG EMBA Cohort 21

Thirty leading professionals have joined AUBG’s 21st EMBA cohort. This is the highest number the program has seen since the very first class back in 2003, and the students come from Bulgaria, Albania, North Macedonia and Syria. The new EMBA admits have an average professional experience of 12 years and work in the IT, hospitality, manufacturing, transport and logistics, medical and pharma sectors.

“Dear Cohort 21, it is a pleasure to welcome you to the AUBG family today,” said AUBG President Dr. David Evans in his welcoming speech at Elieff Center in Sofia. “One of the biggest advantages of the EMBA Program is the knowledge exchange that happens between students, which is why I am thrilled to see such a diverse group coming not only from different industries but also from different countries.”

AUBG’s Executive MBA, the first of its kind in Bulgaria, was established 19 years ago as a highly selective program that gathers together and educates the business leaders of Bulgaria and the region. The 16-month EMBA integrates the fundamentals of business with contemporary perspectives and a practical curriculum. Accredited in both EU and the U.S., the program is recognized internationally for its outstanding faculty and innovative approach.
