Institutional Trial: Coherent Digital

Panitza library is excited to offer a trial of Coherent Digital, a mission-driven publisher dedicated to making a meaningful impact on global research.

While traditional databases often overlook “hidden” materials, Coherent Digital specializes in finding, preserving, and providing access to endangered primary sources, grey literature, and new media.

Trial Period: March 1st – May  31st, 2026
Who Can Access: Open to all AUBG students, faculty, and staff
How to Access: Simply visit Panitza Library’s website to get started! Access is provided within the University’s network and off-campus.

For the next three months, faculty, students, and researchers can dive deep into millions of reports, primary sources, and technical papers that traditional databases often miss.

Featured Platforms in the Trial:

  • Policy Commons: The world’s largest directory of “gray literature.” Access over 5 million reports, briefing papers, and data from think tanks, NGOs, and IGOs. Perfect for political science, economics, and international relations.
  • History Commons: A treasure trove of primary sources focusing on the voices of the marginalized. Includes curated collections on social justice, refugee history, and the Accessible Archives digital collection.
  • Applied Science Commons: Bridge the gap between theory and practice. This collection aggregates technical reports, case studies, and feasibility trials from government and industry—essential for STEM and professional programs.
