Panitza Library is pleased to invite you to our upcoming Faculty Workshop Sessions, designed to provide essential guidance on navigating research visibility tools and supporting various aspects of the scholarly and publishing process.

 

Faculty Workshop Session: Researcher Identity and Impact

  • 17 February, 2026 (Tuesday) / 15:00 – 16:00 / BAC 201
  • 10 March, 2026 (Tuesday) / 15:00 – 16:00 / BAC 201

The session will focus on creating and maintaining your personal researcher profiles in platforms like Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and ORCID.

Participants will gain insights into bibliometric indicators, research visibility, and strategies for maximizing their academic impact.

 

Faculty Workshop Session: Scholarly Publishing

  • 19 February, 2026 (Thursday) / 10:30 – 11:30 / BAC 201
  • 12 March, 2026 (Thursday) / 10:30 – 11:30 / BAC 201

This session will explore key topics in academic publishing, including identifying suitable journals, avoiding predatory publishers, providing insights on open access, and utilizing effective citation management tools.

You will receive practical guidance on navigating the research process and optimizing the publishing strategy.
