Mathematics and Science Department invites you to the Book Presentation: ”A Method for Analysis of Transmission Lines Terminated by Nonlinear Loads”, by Ph.D. Vasil G. Angelov, on Wednesday, March 26, 7:30 p.m. at Panitza Library

The main purpose of the present book is to propose a method for solving the mixed problem for transmission line system by reducing it to a neutral equation (or system) on the boundary.

Arising nonlinearities in the neutral systems are caused by nonlinear characteristics of the Resistor-Grounded Capacitor-Inductor loads. These nonlinearities can significantly impact system behavior, leading to instabilities, oscillations, harmonics, and resonance effects. In view of the applications, we consider mainly periodic and oscillatory problems for lossless transmission lines.
