Laura Kelly is a writer, professor, media trainer, accidental anthropologist and cross-platform storyteller. She teaches writing and storytelling here, at the American University in Bulgaria. In summer, she returns to Flagstaff, Arizona, one of the places she calls home. “The Condition My Condition Is In” was born there, when, in 2013, she became a Homer – that is, a writer for a collective that pen the Letter from Home essays in the Flag Live!, published by the Arizona Daily Sun.
