Access to Web of Science and ProQuest Central Premium (2026–2028)

Panitza Library would like to inform our community that the Bulgarian Ministry of Education and Science (MES) has renewed the national license with Clarivate for the period 2026–2028, ensuring continued access to Web of Science and expanding the resources available to the Bulgarian research community.

As part of this agreement, Bulgarian higher ed institutions now also have access to ProQuest Central Premium, one of the largest multidisciplinary full-text research platforms in the world. It includes 47 specialized databases covering more than 175 subject areas, ranging from health sciences to social sciences, humanities, technology, and the arts. The platform indexes over 33,000 journals and a wide range of scholarly publications.

Please note that our institution has subscribed individually to ProQuest for the past eight years, and access to the platform is now available through the national agreement. Access to ProQuest Central Premium is as normal, on and off-campus.

Clarivate will also host an online training session on 26 March 2026 (15:00–16:00). During the webinar, participants will learn about the platform’s content coverage and how to use advanced search options, filters, citation tools, and resource management features to support their research and literature reviews.
