Sani Silvennoinen is an experienced fundraiser who has spent the past quarter century advancing the missions of leading educational institutions in the United States and Europe. He currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, an educational organization that operates the world’s largest living history museum in Williamsburg, VA, USA. Prior to Colonial Williamsburg, Sani was Assistant Vice President for Development at William & Mary, a top American university. He also served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement at AUBG under Presidents David Huwiler and Michael Easton. Earlier in his career, he held fundraising roles at Johns Hopkins University, the Helsinki University of Technology in his native Finland, and at Yale University, his undergraduate alma mater
