Jordan Karabinov (’97), MBA, ACCA, CIA was the Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors in Bulgaria (2013-2022). Currently, he is the President of the AUBG Alumni Association and ex-officio member of the AUBG board.
Mr. Karabinov started his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Sofia in 1997. In 2001 Mr. Karabinov moved to the Netherlands, where he worked as an Internal Audit Manager for Alcatel-Lucent, General Electric, and ArvinMeritor. For the latter companies, he performed internal audits and fraud investigations in Europe, the USA, and Australia. In 2009 Mr. Karabinov moved back to Bulgaria and became a managing partner of JK&Partners, which offers services in internal audit and risk management.
Mr. Karabinov earned an MBA degree from IMD, Switzerland, and a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria.
