Dr. Richard Van Horne

Assistant Professor at the Poznan University of Economics and Business in Poland

Dr. Van Horne currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the Poznan University of Economics and Business in Poland. Since 2015, he has served as adjunct visiting faculty at the Wroclaw University of Economics. From 2011 to 2012, he was an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Finance at the University of Wyoming. Mr. Van Horne has a thirty-year-long career in international banking and asset management.  In 1992, he co-founded an asset management firm in New York which specialized in emerging markets investing. Later he became active in manager selection and multi-manager portfolio construction, managing client funds in the multi-manager space through 2008. Prior to switching to asset management, Dr. Van Horne worked for about ten years in international banking with Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan, and Crocker National Bank.

Dr. Van Horne has a B.A. from Princeton University, an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, an MS from the University of Wyoming, and a Ph.D. in Finance from the Wroclaw University of Economics.
