Dimitar Tsotsorkov has been Chairperson of the Supervisory Board of the leader in Bulgarian ore mining Assarel-Medet JSC since November 20, 2017. He headed the Management Board since 2015 before taking that position. His professional pathway at Assarel-Medet JSC started in 2001 first as a sales and hedging expert and then continued as a department manager and Corporate Development director. He has been Executive Director of the subsidiary Assarel-Investment Sole Proprietor JSC since its establishment in 2012. He was born in 1975 in Panagyurishte and graduated from a Language High School in Pazardzhik. He acquired two Bachelor degrees respectively in Economics and Finance and Computer Science from Richmond American University and a Master degree in Information Management and Finance from Westminster University in London. Mr. Tsotsorkov graduated from a basic course under the Executive Management program at IMD, Switzerland.
