Julian Milev (’99) is currently the Amara NZero Eastern Europe CFO and Deputy CEO responsible for the company’s operations in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece. Headquartered in Madrid, Amara NZero is a B2B distributor of renewables products (solar, wind and hydro), electrification and energy transition services.

2015 to 2020, Julian was the VP Finance, CFO and Co-acting General Manager for TELUS International Europe (TIE) covering Bulgaria and Romania. Mr. Milev led the transformation of the business from an entrepreneurial enterprise to an IPO-ready subsidiary. Mr. Milev also served as a Board member of the TELUS Community Board and as a Board member of the Bulgarian Outsourcing Association. Prior to joining TIE, Mr. Milev spent 4 years as a relationship manager at Citibank Europe originating and delivering financing solutions for the largest Bulgarian private and public companies. Before that Mr. Milev spent 10 years at Kraft Foods where he held managerial roles in Bulgaria, the UK and Switzerland.

Mr. Milev holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski; a B.A. in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of Economics, Varna; and a B.A. in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria.
