America for Bulgaria Student Center
The America for Bulgaria (ABF) Student Center is the jewel in the crown of our contemporary campus. The spacious, generously sunlit, multi-functional center was built in 2013 with the financial help of the America for Bulgaria Foundation. It hosts our state-of-the-art theater, sports and dining halls, and offices such as Marketing, Communications and Events. Other popular facilities inside the Center include the gym, the bookstore, a trendy coffee shop, and lots of chill-out areas with WI-Fi access.

Balkanski Academic Center
The Balkanski Academic Center (BAC) is part of the Skaptopara Campus, where the AUBG Residence Halls and Panitza Library are located. The BAC offers classrooms and computer labs for hire, suitable for training of small groups, while the BAC Auditorium seats 150 people and is an ideal venue for a range of presentations.

The Skaptopara Residence Halls, AUBG’s on-campus student accommodation, are conveniently located next to the Balkanski Academic Center and the Panitza Library, and just a 10-minute walk across the city center from the Main Building. The halls can accommodate up to 700 people in double rooms with private bathrooms, with a limited number of single rooms also available..
The Skaptopara Residence Halls offer our conference guests a comfortable and secure stay, featuring:

The Skaptopara Residence Halls are available to accommodate conference participants only during the summer months, from May 20 to August 20, when students are no break.
Local hotels We are happy to assist with arrangements and reservations at local hotels, all located within a 10–15 minute walk from the American University in Bulgaria. Prices range from moderate to higher-end, depending on the hotel’s standard.

We offer catering services for a variety of events, including coffee breaks, cocktails, and banquets, as well as served or self-service meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We handle all the logistical and organizational details, while professional providers manage the tours. Several of Bulgaria’s finest landmarks are located within an hour's drive from the conference venue, such as:
- The 10-century-old Rila Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage site
- The picturesque town of Melnik, famous for its traditional architecture, sandstone pyramids, and red wine
- The ski resort and museum town of BanskoWe also offer logistical coordination for pre- and post-conference trips to further destinations in Bulgaria, such as the ancient town of Plovdiv, the formet Bulgarian capital Veliko Tarnovo, and the scenic Black Sea coast. Trips are arranged depending on availability and your specific requirements, with transportation and tour details handled through professional tourism providers. Blagoevgrad itself has much to offer visitors, including an opera house, cinemas, a historical museum, art galleries, and numerous cozy cafés and restaurants. For recreation, guests can enjoy tennis courts, a baseball field, gyms, swimming pools, and a jogging path along the Bistritsa River.
