Political Science and International Relations Research Methods

This course introduces students to the requirements of academic research, from the perils of research design to the methods of data collection and data analysis. This course surveys qualitative and quantitative research methods, and it covers the main epistemological debates in the social sciences. Students will develop their own research proposals, which will include a research question, literature review, methodology, and bibliography.
