Event Submission Policies
Content: The American University in Bulgaria Calendar of Events lists only events open to the public that are organized or co-organized by the university or by AUBG-affiliated organizations. It does not include non-AUBG events and generally does not list events simply because they occur at AUBG or one of its facilities.
Submissions: Direct submission of events to the AUBG on-line calendar is limited to the calendar editor only.
AUBG faculty, staff and students may submit events for posting on the on-line calendar of events through the Submit an Event page.
All calendar submissions will be reviewed and edited by the calendar editor prior to being posted on the on-line calendar of events. The calendar editor reserves the right not to post events that do not meet the specified above content criteria and are not in compliance with AUBG’s regulations.
After checking the AUBG Calendar of Events to make sure the event is not already listed send us the required information at compass@aubg.edu.
Note, that this is a request for posting the event on the on-line calendar and not a request for event organization and you bear the full responsibility about all logistics (room arrangement, guest admission, posters, etc.) For procedures to organize an event, please click here .
Deadline: For timely posting of information on the on-line calendar, please submit the form at least one week before the event. Earlier submissions are encouraged.
Updating: The submitter of the event bears the full responsibility about the accuracy of the information provided in the email. Remember to inform the calendar editor in a timely manner if there are any last minute changes or cancellations to be updated on the on-line calendar.
