Free trial access to EBSCO Academic Search Ultimate

Panitza Library is pleased to inform you that until March 16th, 2017 we will have a free trial access to additional major EBSCO database – Academic Search Ultimate.

EBSCO Academic Search Ultimate

- Offers an unprecedented collection of peer-reviewed, full-text journals, including many journals indexed in leading citation indexes:

  • 11,000 full-text journals and magazines
  • 10,000 full-text peer-reviewed journals
  • 7,000 full-text peer-reviewed journals with no embargo
  • 6,200 full-text journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science
  • Over 60,000 videos from the Associated Press, which appear in a carousel in the results list.                                                                                                                       

Updated monthly, this collection of videos from the world’s leading news agency includes footage from 1930 to the present and helps round out student research.

- Offers multidisciplinary content. The combination of academic journals, magazines, periodicals, reports, books and videos meets the needs of scholars in virtually every discipline ranging from astronomy, anthropology, biomedicine, engineering, health, law and literacy to mathematics, pharmacology, women’s studies, zoology and more.  

- With thousands of English-language and native-language full-text journals from Asia, Oceania, Europe and Latin America, Academic Search Ultimate provides an enormous advantage to scholars seeking a broader, more global perspective in their research.

Access is provided within the university network, and remotely while performing a regular search on EBSCOHost.
