Learning French as a third language in the context of a Bulgarian university reflects the situation of many other young people who learn French after they have learnt English. By noting frequent difficulties in writing, it is important to rethink the didactic approach to meet the needs of this multilingual public. In fact, digital-supported hybrid training systems seem likely to encourage creativity and accelerate learning, thanks to the facilitating role of the English language.
