52 new students from 13 countries arrive for the spring semesterJanuary 17, 2008
On 15 January 2008 AUBG welcomed 52 Bulgarian and international students - 40 of them will start as first-year students and the rest 12 of them are coming from other universities on exchange programs. This semester the international students are from: Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Moldova, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Russia and USA.
The University admits new students twice a year for the spring and fall semesters. The ones who have taken the SAT and TOEFL exams later have the chance to apply for the spring semester. The deadline for applying is June 1 for the fall and November 1 for the spring semester. At the end of August 2007 the University admitted nearly 300 students who have already started their education and have adapted to the multicultural environment at AUBG. At present more than 1100 students from 30 countries are studying at the University.
