As full-time faculty, instructors are expected to teach a minimum of three courses per semester, to participate in university and departmental service, and to publish within their fields. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate the ways in which their teaching and scholarship will contribute to the ongoing mission of AUBG as a liberal arts institution furthering the advancement of democratic ideals in Eastern Europe.
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in English in hand. Applications received by 31 October 2018 will receive full consideration. First-round interviews will be conducted via Skype in early December, and finalists may be asked to submit full teaching portfolios at that time.
