In 2022, once again AUBG is among the leading institutions in the Bulgarian University Rankings. AUBG is No 1 in the country in Business Administration, European Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Political Science and International Relations. The Economics, Computer Science, and Information Systems programs rank second among 52 institutions in the country.
“Congratulations to our faculty and students who demonstrate daily their dedication, enthusiasm, and motivation, and made this success possible,” said AUBG President Dr. David Evans in a message to the community.
Furthermore, AUBG takes the first place in the Prestige category for BUS, ECO, EUR, JMC, and POS, with graduates having the lowest unemployment rate and earning the highest incomes in these professional tracks. All evaluated programs rank first in Welfare and Administrative Services.
The Bulgarian University Ranking System aims to support students in their choice of university. It ranks 52 universities accredited in the country, grouping academic disciplines offered into professional fields. It takes into account more than 100 indicators, including teaching and learning, university environment, welfare and administrative services, science and research, prestige, career development, relevance to the labor market, and regional engagement.
The evaluated professional fields AUBG programs fit into are Administration and Management (Business Administration), Economics, Informatics and Computer Science (Computer Science; Information Systems), Political Science (European Studies; Political Science and International Relations), and Public Communication and Information Sciences (Journalism and Mass Communication).
