Admissions Counselor

Alma Mater:
American University in Bulgaria

Has been working for AUBG since
January 2020

Why did you decide to work at AUBG?
I had the best experience studying here, and I want to help other students experience the same.

Favorite AUBG memory:
One of my favorite memories in AUBG was an RA team building we organized during my sophomore year. We had to hike for around 8 hours, and when we arrived at the hut, we were so tired that we didn't even do the games we had planned. On top of that, we were squished in bunk beds with other hikers that were talking in Bulgarian and the room was quite cold. The views, however, were breathtaking and we bonded much more over our little inconveniences, rather than from playing team building games and exercises.

Best part of your job:
Seeing all the students at orientation week. Even though traveling to different countries and assisting many students in their application process might be challenging, I feel great satisfaction seeing the new students coming to AUBG eager to start their semester.

Tips for college:
Join as many extracurricular clubs or activities you can. Also, if you see a gathering, if you see a poster about an event, if you see people hanging out on the lawn don't be shy and just join.

What do you do in your free time?
I Iove doing yoga and just sitting in nature.
