Promotes the Mission of the University by means of creating, utilizing, and developing an integrated financial and accounting system that includes rules, procedures, and database for classification, accountancy and control of the documentation, and that reflects thoroughly and accurately the basic and supporting activities.
Prepares annual financial reports for the calendar year in accordance with the Bulgarian legislation and the International Accounting Standards (IAS), as well as for the period of July through June in line with the US General Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). Assists students, faculty, and staff by means of maintaining and releasing up-to-date information for the current status of their budgets and accounts. Prepares and submits to managers of all levels of administration various reports and analyses.
