Faculty
AUBG has a highly qualified faculty of about 80 professors: over 70% are full time, and the rest are part-time. Approximately 70% of our faculty hold Ph.D. degrees from prestigious universities worldwide, including Princeton University, the Sofia and Moscow State Universities, Virginia Tech, the Bulgarian and Ukrainian Academies of Science, to name a few.
The exceptional qualifications and experience of the AUBG faculty contribute to the University’s ability to provide an education with both an international and Western perspective. The diversity of our student body is mirrored by the diversity among our faculty. About 45% of our faculty members are Bulgarian, 35% are from the US and Canada, and the rest are from Europe and Asia.
