Leading Professionals Join AUBG’s EMBA and EMFBRE ProgramsJanuary 21, 2019
AUBG welcomed its 18th Executive MBA cohort and the second cohort of the Executive Master in Finance, Banking & Real Estate (EMFBRE) program, a joint venture with SDA Bocconi. The new students got together with current students, alumni and faculty to celebrate the beginning of their academic journey at a reception in Elieff Center Jan.18.
“Thank you for entrusting us with your career development and sharing all this time, effort and, more than anything, wonderful experiences with us,” said AUBG Provost Emilia Zankina in an address to the postgraduates.
The new EMBA and EMFBRE students hold leadership positions at the banking and finance, telecommunications and IT, media and entertainment, real estate and petroleum industries in Bulgaria. The cohorts are also international- the current EMBA and EMBFRE students come from Bulgaria, Italy, Turkey, Romania, Poland, and Russia.
AUBG’s Executive MBA , the first of its kind in Bulgaria, was established in 2003 as a highly selective program that gathers together and educates the business leaders of Bulgaria and the region. The sixteen-month EMBA integrates the fundamentals of business with contemporary perspectives and a practical curriculum.
The SDA Bocconi/AUBG’s Master in Finance, Banking & Real Estate was launched in October 2017. The degree program prepares top-level professionals to offer high-quality solutions to financial, banking, and real estate problems both operationally and strategically. The 16-courses’ program offers interactive courses that aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice.
