Environmental and global future concerns urge AUBG alumna Olga Marcenac (’96) and her husband Xavier Marcenac to establish a startup company to develop a technology transforming organic waste into proteins. The project NASEKOMO is the Bulgarian finalist in the international competition for social entrepreneurship Chivas Venture 2018 and will compete for a $ 1 MM prize. Congratulations! AUBG received two awards at the Best Universities in the Country ceremony, after majors Business Administration and Political Science were rated as the best in Bulgaria. “It’s an honor to accept this award that reflects the work of attracting so many inspirational and hard-working students and bringing them together from more than 35 countries. This success is a recognition of their commitment and passion,” said AUBG President Steven Sullivan.
